The Paralympic Games

I wonder why the Paralympic Games are silently held after the Olympic Games. For the "disabled", doing sports is more important, as it is an opportunity to overcome complexes.

I wish the "disabled" athlets and their "abled" peers could march hands-in-hand on the joint Olympic Games Opening Ceremony, and their achievement are equally appreciated and glorified in the world.

The segregation of Olympic and Paralympic Games creates barriers. Having lived in a team of disabled weighlifting athlets in Turkmenistan, I know that this segration makes them think "they are different" and rely on sponsors' support, rather their strengths.
